Master your Suno songs

A Suno export is a finished stereo file, not a release-ready master. Mastering sets its loudness, tone balance and peak level so it sits next to other songs on a playlist. Hear it on your own track in about a minute, free, no account.

What mastering does for an AI-generated song

Suno gives you a mixed stereo file. It has not been through the last step every released song goes through: leveling the loudness against other music, balancing the tone and leaving safe headroom for streaming encoders. That step is mastering, and it works the same on AI audio as on a band recording.

MasteringKit treats your Suno export like any other finished mix. It measures the file, then shapes loudness, tone, stereo width and the peak ceiling. You judge the result by switching between the original and the master at the same spot.

How to master a Suno song in three steps

  1. 1 Download the best file Suno gives you

Use WAV if your plan offers it. MP3 also works. We accept WAV, MP3, FLAC, AIFF, M4A and OGG.

  2. 2 Upload it and listen

Drop it on the upload page. No account is needed. In about a minute you hear a 30-second mastered section next to the original.

  3. 3 Adjust, then download only if it is better

Change the controls until it sounds right. A free account adds 10 extra revisions per track. Downloading the full track needs Unlimited or Unlimited Plus.

The settings that matter for Suno songs

These are real controls in the mastering workspace. Change one at a time and listen.

  • Engineer style. Avery keeps the mix as it is. Nova adds width and sparkle for pop and synth tracks. Theo leaves more dynamics for acoustic songs.
  • Loudness. Balanced is a safe start for streaming. Loud, Aggressive and Crushed push harder, and they also bring out any harshness in the source.
  • De-esser. If sibilant vocals sound sharp, try Heavy.
  • Stereo width and Mono safety. Keep Natural width unless the song feels narrow. Check the result in mono if you plan to release it.
  • Ceiling. Choose -1 dB to leave headroom for MP3 and AAC conversion on streaming services.

What mastering can and cannot fix in AI audio

Mastering works on the whole stereo file. It cannot reach inside a mix, so be realistic about the limits.

  • Can: raise or lower overall loudness and control peaks.
  • Can: balance low, mid and high frequencies and tame harsh sibilance.
  • Can: adjust stereo width and keep the result safe in mono.
  • Cannot: remove artifacts or glitches that Suno generated into the audio.
  • Cannot: make a smeared or unclear vocal sound sharp.
  • Cannot: separate vocals and instruments. We do not offer stem separation or editing.
  • Cannot: fix a poor arrangement. If the song is the problem, regenerate it first.

Questions

Only partly. Mastering improves loudness, balance and polish. It does not repair artifacts, unclear vocals or arrangement problems baked into the generation.

Listening is free: upload and hear a 30-second preview with no account. Downloading the full mastered track needs Unlimited or Unlimited Plus.

The highest quality one you have. WAV is best, and MP3 works. We accept WAV, MP3, FLAC, AIFF, M4A and OGG for upload; paid plans download WAV 24-bit and MP3 320.

No. Mastering changes loudness and tone, nothing else, and we do not claim to alter how a song is detected.

Rights to the song depend on Suno’s terms and your plan with them. Check Suno’s terms before you release. MasteringKit only processes the file you upload.
