What musicians say
Independent artists and producers on what they heard. Open a card to find their music.
I dropped a beat in without making an account and heard it mastered about a minute later. Then I typed ‘warmer, less bite on the hats’ and got a new version with the changes listed in numbers.
Kayou.Lo-fi hip hop producerSpotify on 99.7K monthly listeners(opens in a new tab) Every change lands as a new version, so I switched between two while the chorus was playing and heard straight away which one sat my vocal better.
Mia MorrisAlt-pop singer-songwriterYouTube on 144K subscribers(opens in a new tab) I use the free preview to hear a rough master before I commit. Mastered in about a minute, no account, and I can adjust it with a few controls.
Taly ShumMelodic techno DJ and producerApple Music on 38.1K Spotify monthly listeners(opens in a new tab) Quiet, wide music is easy to flatten with a heavy master. I pulled the intensity down and kept comparing against my mix until it still breathed.
The AmbientalistAmbient composerSpotify on 68.2K monthly listeners(opens in a new tab) Six engineer styles on the same beat gave me six starting points. I kept the one that fit and nudged it from there.
Purrple CatLo-fi producerYouTube on 192K subscribers(opens in a new tab) I asked for ‘a bit more air up top’ in plain words and got a new version back, saved next to the old one so I could switch between them while the track played.
bad snacksChill lo-fi producerYouTube on 131K subscribers(opens in a new tab) I write and produce my own songs, so being able to adjust the master myself with a few simple controls, instead of sending notes back and forth, is the whole point.
Izzie NaylorIndie alt-pop artist and producerYouTube on 62.2K subscribers(opens in a new tab) Previewing and tweaking cost me nothing. I only paid when I wanted the full-length WAV.

How online mastering works
AI mastering for finished mixes. You stay in charge of every decision and only pay when you download.
Upload your mix
Drop a WAV, FLAC or MP3 of the final stereo mix. Pick the part of the song you most want to hear.
Hear a free preview
No signup. In about a minute you hear a 30-second section mastered, ready to compare with your original.
Adjust and download
Change it with controls or a sentence until it’s right, then download the full track as WAV or MP3.
Say what you want to hear
Write a note the way you would to a mastering engineer. Avery makes a new version and tells you what changed, in numbers you can check.

Mastering is the last step before release. It balances the tone, controls dynamics, sets the stereo image and brings the track up to a competitive loudness, so it sounds right on earbuds, car speakers and club systems. MasteringKit is online mastering: it listens to your finished mix and applies EQ, compression, saturation, stereo processing and limiting for you.
WAV, MP3, FLAC, AIFF, M4A or OGG, up to 1.5 GB and 22:30 long. Upload the final stereo mix with a little headroom and no limiter on the master bus if you can. Paid plans export WAV (24-bit) and MP3 (320 kbps).
Your first 30-second preview is usually ready in about a minute. Each change after that takes a few seconds. When you finalize, the full-length master is ready to download a minute or two later.
Your uploads and masters are private to your project and are only used to master your track. You can delete a project at any time, and files from inactive projects are removed automatically. The privacy policy has the details.
Yes. Download the WAV and send it to your distributor as you normally would. Streaming services turn loud tracks down to a common level, so the Balanced loudness setting is a safe choice for streaming. Louder settings are there for club and DJ use.
Both include unlimited full-track exports and every control, engineer and EQ band. Unlimited Plus adds unlimited revisions, full-length previews, batch mastering, up to 10 tracks and priority render queue. Unlimited is $14 a month or $3.58 a month billed yearly; Unlimited Plus is $22 or $5.42.
Yes. Export the song from the generator as WAV if you can and upload it like any other mix. Generated tracks are often dull or quiet, which mastering helps with. Before you release it, check that the generator’s terms let you use the song commercially.
Yes. The preview is free and needs no signup: upload a track and hear a 30-second section mastered. A free account adds 10 more revisions per project. Downloading the full track needs a paid plan.
