Master my song
You have a finished song and want it to sound release-ready. Upload it, listen to the mastered version next to your original, and decide. The preview is free and needs no account.
What “mastering my song” actually means
Mastering is the last step before release. It evens out the tone, brings the song to a competitive loudness and keeps the peaks safe, so it translates on earbuds, car speakers and playlists.
It works on the finished stereo mix, so bring a mix you are happy with. Mastering polishes a good mix. It will not repair a muddy, clipped or unbalanced one, so fix those in the mix first.
Master your song in three steps
1 Upload your song
Drop in your final stereo mix as WAV, MP3, FLAC, AIFF, M4A or OGG, up to 1.50 GB and 22 minutes 30 seconds. No account is needed.
2 Listen to the master
In about a minute you hear a 30-second mastered section. Switch between your original and the master at the same spot.
3 Adjust, then download
Change the controls until it sounds right. A free account adds 10 extra revisions per track. Download the full track with Unlimited or Unlimited Plus.
Ways to shape your master
You do not need to touch any of this to get a result, but each setting is there when you want it.
- Engineer style. Six styles: Avery (balanced), Rio (loud and bright), June (warm analog), Theo (open and dynamic), Nova (wide modern pop) and Sol (soft and lo-fi). Pick the one closest to your genre.
- Controls. Loudness, Ceiling, Stereo width, Mono safety, Saturation, Warmth, Clarity, De-esser, Compression and more, plus an intensity setting.
- EQ. A six-band EQ for the final tonal touch.
- Prompt and reference mastering. Describe the sound in words, or match a reference track. Both are part of Unlimited and Unlimited Plus.
